THE MAKING PLACE
Have you ever wanted to take up a creative hobby but realised you do not have the space, equipment, or budget for all the tools involved? Maybe you finished a college course and suddenly lost access to the workshop, studio, or specialist equipment you relied on. We set up The Making Place to bridge that gap. We provide shared access to creative tools, equipment, workspace, and learning opportunities so you can keep making, experimenting, and developing your skills without needing to turn your house into a workshop.
The Making Place is a creative makerspace and workshop where people can design, build, experiment, and learn using both traditional craft and modern technology. From woodworking and ceramics to laser cutting, 3D printing, sewing, photography, podcasting, and digital media, The Making Place brings creative tools, skills, and people together in one inspiring community space.
