At Discovering42, we believe there is huge value in experimenting, making and learning by doing. Our events offer a chance to step away from screens and consumerism, and instead make things from scratch, build practical skills and discover new possibilities in discarded materials. Most importantly, we want to create a space where people can come together to share ideas and skills, learn from one another and turn their ideas into something impactful.

We also have our café space, where you can pop in for a coffee or try one of our unusual, chemistry-inspired Magic Mocktails. You are welcome to do some arting while you are there, bring along a sketchbook, craft project or anything else you are working on. Or simply find a comfy spot and curl up with something from our lovely collection of unusual science, art and sustainability books.
